I think that this image is one of the most important aspects
of the film mainly due to the fact that it has a good meaning. Being released
just 3 years after the 9/11 bombings the reasoning behind the virus was
supposedly caused by people from the Middle East. The angle of the shot also
shows power over the people which may also relate to religion.
Basically this whole image relates to religion; there is
music playing in the background “Johnny Cash – The man comes around” which
gives a large indication as to what the film director is trying to say about
this topic.
